Moon Prep faced several challenges in expanding its audience reach and fill sign-up slots for its summer bootcamps. The company operates in a highly competitive niche market, catering specifically to BS/MD students undergoing rigorous application processes. Crafting targeted messages that resonate with this niche while effectively differentiating from established competitors poses a significant hurdle. Moreover, Moon Prep offers a range of services, from comprehensive advising to summer bootcamps, complicating the communication of its value proposition within the constraints of digital platforms.

Additionally, collecting meaningful data on potential clients while respecting privacy regulations and optimizing conversion rates to maximize ROI further adds to the complexity. Balancing budget allocation across various channels and continuously analyzing performance metrics becomes essential. Overcoming these challenges requires a strategic approach that integrates precise targeting, creative messaging, data-driven optimization, and meticulous budget management. Through these efforts, Moon Prep can enhance its digital advertising endeavors and achieve its objectives effectively.

Solution/Process Work

To overcome challenges, targeted social advertising campaigns were launched on Facebook and Instagram, primarily focusing on parents in affluent areas with medical or educational backgrounds. Ads were tailored to align with popular medical schools and specific program offerings, targeting segmented groups based on interests.

As a result, two summer camps were fully booked within two weeks, acquiring 12 new clients for Moon Prep. Additionally, valuable data was collected for future campaigns, all achieved with a budget of only $500.
