The Old Spaghetti Factory, a well-known restaurant chain founded in Portland, OR

Challenge

The Old Spaghetti Factory sought to enhance its community presence and generate additional revenue through partnerships and events. They needed someone to secure high-value partnerships and execute impactful campaigns that supported community needs.

Solution

I developed and implemented a partnership marketing strategy that included:

  • Collaborating with organizations such as the American Rally Association, Oregon Dog Rescue, Parkinson’s Resources, and Providence Health to host charity events.
  • Negotiating sponsorship deals with the Portland Downtown Ice Rink, Road Runner Sports, and the Oregon Ballet Theater.
  • Coordinating event marketing to maximize attendance and donations.

Results

  • Generated over $10,000 in charitable revenue in two months.
  • Built lasting partnerships with prominent organizations.
  • Enhanced The Old Spaghetti Factory’s reputation as a community-oriented brand.

Partnership Assets

RACEAid Fundraiser

In partnership with the ARA’s RACEAid Fund, I reached out to set up a fundraiser dinner for the organization to raise money for injured drivers and their families.

Industry Focused Videos

As one of the markers for Christmas time, I knew a partnership with the Portland Winter Ice Rink would provide us visibility and opportunities to interact with the local community.

We were included in outreach materials and provided additional support for a South Waterfront Business day on December 16th.

Publication Language

In an ongoing partnership we connected with the Oregon Ballet Theater to serve patrons and members of the cast during the running of the NutCracker.

This event contributed to the highest grossing December in The Old Spaghetti Factory’s history and a 10% increase annually over 2023.

2025 Events

In the first month this year we already have 5 Fundraising Dinners, including with the Oregon Dog Rescue, and successful partnerships with local events through springtime.
